Reaching out to understand the compensation at HPE(Aruba specifically ) . The company has internal levels , specifically intermediate , specialist, expert , master etc . If a person is at the expert level which would map to a senior software developer with 10 years experience , is a base salary of $182,000 something which is normal for this company . I understand it’s not a FAANG and it’s not the market level , but for people within Aruba , is this salary expected , lower than usual , or in the higher range ? Upon this , the bonus is around $30K And RSUs are almost negligible at around $2K #HPE #arubanetworks YOE : 11 yrs TC : $215, 000
Fabulous HPE offer. They don’t take care of exciting employees. I am Master Product Manager, 2+ years only making $172 TC. High COL, and masters in engineering. Very disappointing.
How was the bonus last year . Has the median salary caused attrition in your other teams around you ? Asking cause I wonder why managers would be surprised if people leave , when people are getting better offers outside
No bonus last year and a 15% pay cut an no matching 401K that year either. Attrition is accelerating.
Make that 20+ years 😳
Master level Base : 210k Bonus : usually 17 to 18% Get some hpe stocks here and there with no stock growth in sight. Best case scenario, touch 300. Worst was during the paycut when it fell to 250
That’s actually an incredible Base and bonus . Did you mean that with the stocks , your TC is 300 ? Also , how may years of experience do you have . Thanks !
11 yoe. Not actually incredible considering the industry standards. Also this is in HCOL. And yea, this yr it was close to around 328 or something. But thats like the absolute max. I can clearly expect it to be way lesser this yr. But then , let's see, time to move out :)
My salary at HP as an expert (8yrs + MBA) was 124,000 plus 40k bonus in Houston. This was above the median as far as I understand for the role (Data Program Mgmt).
How did conversations about moving to a master role go for you , or did you leave before trying to move up . Also, how was your WLB .thanks !
I left before that conversation happened but my manager did try to convince me to stay by offering a slightly better base pay. WLB was wonderful, I rarely ever worked over 6-7 hours a day and that's when I took additional responsibilities on top of what was expected of me.
