It's going to be interesting. I work with several people that moved to support their spouse's career, and a few that were hired in remote locations. They are excellent teammates. I can not imagine Dell wants to push them out.

All companies promote the people they like and ignore the people they don't. For people they like, they'll make exceptions. For people they have no interest in promoting, well, they weren't getting promoted anyway.
