for those that have heavy travel, ever snuck in a personal trip or a flight on the internal company booking site ?
Never.
Ours let's us use the travel agency to book trips for 50$ but if you meant try to pass a personal trip as a work trip then no as manager is always notified and would confirm it's relevant
no. but if we're going somewhere cool we can arrive early or leave late (days) from event. anything on those days won't be reimbursed.
Of all the ways to steal from your company, this one leaves the most obvious paper trail. Try it and let us know how it goes.
wtf does this mean? special pricing for biz travel applied to personal trips?
I've been on the road enough that I assume I could. My manager wouldn't pay any attention to the expense report and just approve. However, accounting notices if you don't have the right approval associated with the trip.
Yup. At Intel. Went for a one day training program on a Friday. Returned back 10 days later.
No, that's completely unethical.
OP - see the thread in the MS lounge with all the corp discount codes and book directly. Unfortunately, no airline codes and we get some pretty good discounts, so that would be nice.
No.
