Considering perspective offers for pre-sales engineering from Dataiku and Matillion. The comp and benefits are pretty much the same. Any thoughts on culture, IPO likelihood, platform and growth? #matillion #dataiku
I work at Matillion and it’s probably one of the best run companies I’ve had the pleasure of working at. Dataiku is also an excellent company from the outside looking in. Dataiku has fewer customers but a higher ACV, they focus on data science needs, Matillion has more customers but lower ACV. I believe Dataiku is closer to an IPO due to higher revenue and team. Matillion is about a year behind on its growth journey but is a more efficient business so will be a better investment in an inflationary environment. Matillion’s value proposition is more pervasive than Dataiku’s who need more market education leading to a less efficient sales process.
