How is wlb at imdb TV. On call . Growth and pip? Is it worth joining compared to aws
Some teams in amazon I heard are pretty chill , compared to other teams which have horror experiences
It’s shit WLB. Leadership is nepotistic, they hire and promote their friends. On call is the worst, mostly because there are no solid underlying systems that support, it’s like a switchboard on fire. Most hardworking and quiet people are shown the noose and people will easily take credit for your hard work. AWS is a frying pan compared to IMDb TV shit fire.
So aws is better ?
Imdb tv has heavy pip culture. Ppl leaving suddenly. Leadership is full of nepotism and favor who shout and complain. Teams are toxic and everybody is complaining behind the back. Managers are the worst and most unsupportive. They only want to fill their ura quota. Applies to both product and tech. Do not join
really?which team are you referring to? that’s really bad. client team, service team or others
Client team for sure. But ppl leave suddenly without much notice or even communication across teams. Have also seen one deserving service eng not being promoted despite going above and beyond.
