tc 200k is python enough? what else is required? 10+ yoe, tech background, used to write a lot of c++/python, somehow ended up in consulting, looking to go faang, trying to optimize for interviews..
Experience... How much do you have, and do you have a technical background?
Updated post thx
Why do you need python for pm?
I didn't see many product managers from consulting. That said being structured and analytical helps. Google PM is highly oriented towards shipping products and working closely with engineering, independently. It's a tough first PM job to get, but you should definitely try. The more Enterprise companies value consulting a lot more
Which ones would you suggest
Honestly Google cloud has really changed their hiring and made it a lot differnt than regular Google. That could be a place to look. They now make you reinterview at big Google if you join cloud. They're hiring a lot of SAP and Oracle people and even brought in their own HR lead... From SAP.
Go spend time at other tech product companies like sales force, sap, micosoft. Just aim to learn more about the field. Your question shows you need to learn more about the industry
There's no hope for you just from asking this question.
