As if it’s not a crime now.

Medallia theloop2.0 OP Aug 14, 2019

This would close a loop hole for being a federal crime which limits investigation and punishment.

Oracle not_larry Aug 14, 2019

What loophole?

OpenTable Meliodas Aug 14, 2019

Sounds like federal overreach. There are already state and federal laws on the books for these crimes. The federal government already has a track record of abusing these types of laws to target politically unpopular minority groups.

Medallia theloop2.0 OP Aug 14, 2019

What specifically do you think the government is going to do with this law besides investigate and charge domestic terrorists?

LinkedIn babuka Aug 14, 2019

Over-prosecute black men. That's what the federal government does with most of its law enforcement authority.

This is clearly a response to the attached image. Those calling it Federal overreach, we are talking about the exact same crimes, talking about terrorism killing of a lot of people at once. It is just the current rules that charges and treats them differently. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9QoSppDyL4&t=93

As of recently FBI is considering the act of spreading/discussing conspiracy theories a terrorism act. How convenient. They pass the law on domestic terrorism, claim any non-government approved opinion a conspiracy theory and voila: you're dragged off into the night on terrorism charges.

Amazon 🤠== 8 Aug 15, 2019

Terrorism by definition requires an act of violence.

Amazon Db8db4 Aug 15, 2019

Not anymore according to FBI.

Uber mH7bSe Aug 15, 2019

Great! Ban mass shootings already! Finally this is hapenning. No more mass shootings with this law.

Google Mr. Glass Sep 25, 2019

Why not just ban all crime? Problem solved in one legislation. Genius, no? Idiot.

Uber mH7bSe Sep 26, 2019

Not all crimes should be banned. Some crimes were already made non-crime. Like smashing your car window.
