Kaiser HMO vs Aetna PPO
I live in bay area. My employer provides both Kaiser HMO and Aetna ppo options. I had ACL reconstruction surgery 3 years back and need to do consultations in the coming months. Other than that I don’t have any other medical conditions. Can anyone suggest which option to choose and why?
You sure kaiser is PPO?
Kaiser is hmo and aetna ppo.
If you won't travel too much outside California where kaiser isn't present then take that option. Make sure kaiser is near your home. You will have limited doctors to pick from as you can pick only kaiser doctors but it would be cheaper. Else take PPO. You will have larger choice of in network doctors to pick from.
