How difficult it is to change your tech stack after working and having expertise on one for a decade. I have worked on .net/ microsoft technologies (-asp.net, C#, sql server, .net core , angular)for 10 years and recently I got a job offer which has a complete new and different tech stack (PHP, javascript, MySql, react) what should I do and how tough it to switch from .net to php/ javascript ??
You may want to avoid php
If ur gonna change to php then just keep your stack.
Forget PHP unless you're at Facebook
Changing stack = changing your position in stack ranking π Or use 2 queues to make a stack (so technically you changed the stack internals π€) BS aside, a good engineer should never worry about a stack
Why would you switch to php? Look for node, python, go etc. there would be initial learning curve but would be fine after
Dude wants a mid ground.
