If so how is it calculated is it a flat rate? For SWE T2
Starting this year you can get either: - A flat bonus based on performance of your sector. Likely to be ~$1000. Or - A few % of base pay if you are identified as a top performer. I don't know how many top performers there can be, but about 1 in 10 seems right. Under the old system being a top performer was usually the way to flag you for immediate promotion - actually required for the higher pay grades.
$1000? That’s pathetic. Lunch money. Fuck defense.
I did so much fuckin work and never hit excellent performer. It’s a waste of time trying to get it
Dang that sucks to hear. Raytheon gives annual bonus always about 3-4% of base I thought that was the normal in the industry. Good to know
Kind of figured this was the case which is why I don’t do shit at work and still get successful lmao. Getting sick of defense. Maybe I should go commercial.
Only if you get an Excellent rating. Than it's like 3% + based of company/sector performance. So ends up being like ~5%. This for T02
Thank you. How common is getting an excellent rating? Sounds pretty rare.
Very rare, only 10% of all T02. But I did see that the bonus structure is changing this year. I don't work there anymore so I don't remember
