turned down a coin base offer in March. I thought it was too late to join then. And I was not sure at #which price I will be granted shares. wondering what at price people get if they join in march or april?
Was that the price that March joiners got?

Is there any transparency to how they are determining the stock price? Like last 30 days average or anything?
60 day trailing average
60 day trailing average is the same stupid oversimplification the leadership repeated. The truth is they have been using 60 day average from the last day of the calendar month in which you joined. Furthermore board appears to have used determination date and not approval/finalization date of 409a. Both of these are things took a lot of hires (in particular Feb 1st, March 1st hires) by surprise.
I bet you would have got RSU in $ amount at this point and it would be divided by the share price when they approve your RSU at the board meeting
