Part of that might be explained by the fact that I didn't pay 2M for a dumpster, and I park in public regularly without fear of being robbed. And I live in the Bay Area.

Dont think there not coming for your electric prices. Power is power and they will hike up the prices for everyone. Atleast with gasoline they can't decide to just shut it off at a whim and keep you from driving period.
But electric cars are much more efficient, the savings are higher
I find it interesting that people use oil everyday but they don’t want to own energy stocks to at least act as a hedge against their expenses. Also energy stocks are still cheap and Buffett just loaded up on Occidental Petroleum (OXY)
