Can I use an SSL certificate on shared hosting to secure my Data? I have created one digital product library. currently its hosted on Shared server, some of the products are premium so want to make it secure. I am new in hosting and security domain. Please do suggest. below is the site. www. biosfinder.com Thanks....
Ssl won't protect your data. It only protects the transit of data between your customer and your site
Why not AWS with hosting with free and premium content S3 bucket. Have you compared the cost, you would be surprised how low you will end up paying. SSL will protect data is transit but you need to know who has direct access of the shared server.
Thank you very much for the info.
