I am about to receive two offers, one from Hopin and another one from Tanium. Hopin looks like a really cool startup with a huge grow potential. Flex hours and unlimited vacation. Tanium had a really good vibe during each of the interview (I met 8 different people all together). But a lot of bad press and that somewhat worries me (however, I feel it was well addressed during my interviews). I would require a TN Visa for that one. I would work remotely from Canada for both. Both roles are for Senior roles. Anyone from these companies that could share some insights? :) Would appreciate it. #hopin #tanium Current TC: 210k CAD
I’m at Hopin and it’s decent.
are there things you do not like? are in engineering or something else?
Non engineer role. Lots of reacting to customer wants and not a lot of firm product roadmapping (that I’ve seen). Regardless of that, it’s a good environment and you feel like an owner in it. I came from FAANG and I like it.
can you share the TC for Hopin and level?
Believe the bad press
Hey OP whiçh one did you end up joining?
Hopin. Tons of work so far, but very interesting and I don't regret it.
Would you mind giving insights into the interviews what kind of questions were asked? For senior node or full stack developer? I have one coming up after the holidays

Real talk: in what way private schools are better than public in nyc?
I LOVE working at Hopin. Feel free to ping me for any questions you have!!
Hey there, late on your post but wanted to ask for your insight as I recently got a recruiter message and will be chatting further about potentially joining as a frontend engineer. Are you able to share what the interviewing process is like? TIA
