Yesterday , there was a shooting in Allen Mall , Texas. There were 9 killed in the shooting, and one of them was Desi ( as per the reports ). This mall is a very popular outlet mall of Dallas ,Texas. Although shootings are common in the US, it has been increasing more since covid . Politicians are just sharing " thoughts and prayers." Honestly , I am scared every time I go to a grocery store, stadium, or anywhere. Are you scared of your or your childrens safety ? P.S. For those who would defend this as " more people die from Car accidents than mass shooting,"a license is given to drivers to ensure its regulated but Guns without license are more common. https://twitter.com/MikeSington/status/1654993976280358914?s=20
It's always interesting to me the people who can't last in a fight are the ones who push banning guns
This is a land of free where killing of random person is allowed and in-fact it is promoted by constitution...and SCOTUS
Stay at home, and live in the metaverse
@snap Your workplace could be next , its just random draw . Any office could be next , now that hybrid is more common.
> its just random draw Such is life.
No .. still statistically insignificant .. I know there's maybe a 1% chance that it'll be me next time but that's not something I'm gonna worry about waking around and seeing shows or the mall etc
@Dell I dont think we should be proud of that 1% either. Although it is small, this could have been avoided. Innocent lives could be saved
1% is a lot. It’s actually less than that. But there are many underdeveloped which are much safer.
The ones who vote for gun ban don’t know how fucking scary it is to live in a country with banned guns. Take every LATAM country as an example.
a normal person doesn’t need an assault rifle, let alone multiple. At least make it difficult.
Take every asian country as an example where guns are banned. Take every european country as an example where guns are banned. Take Australia as an example...
Guns will never be banned in the US because the right to bear arms is part of our constitution. You can argue for it all you want, it just won’t happen. I don’t know what the right answer is here, and unfortunately it’s really difficult to get our elected officials to work towards a solution together. Personally, I think that their divisive politics is a large part of the problem. Also, you need a license to legally drive a car, but its easy enough to drive a car without a license. It’s not that regulated. And the Allen Outlet Mall is a gun free zone, but that didn’t prevent the shooting.
The right to bear arms wasn’t in the original constitution. It was added in an amendment. There could be another amendment to remove it.
I mean never say never, I didn’t think Roe v Wade would ever be overturned, but it’s unlikely that guns will be banned.
People with tiny brains want guns to do more 6th Jan crapfest and they blame everyone but themselves when their dumb kids use it for smaller crapfest in school. It's basic logic that every country on earth sees except for yours truly.
High IQ, high TC here. Successful director who is well respected. I also own multiple guns and support the right to bear arms. Sorry to break your assumptions there, Google Banning guns isn’t the answer at all. Look what happens to authoritative regimes where their citizens are unarmed. Fix the mental health crisis and you fix shootings. TC: $900K
Plenty of liberals own guns. Have you heard of the John Brown Gun Club?
Not scared.
