I need to take a flight to Fresno with 1 stop in between. There are no direct flights from my place. Is it worth spending 4 days here. I will be visiting Kings canyon as well. Are the trees really jaw dropping ? What's your favourite spot ?
Tress are amazing… but 4 days just for sequoia and kings canyon , might think twice.
I see some jaw dropping pics near some trees. Any photo tips ?
Do 2 days, well worth it
Great, thanks. Is Grant tree , presidents tree better than general Sherman . I'm sure all all great, but just for a comparison
You can fly to Bakersfield or even San Jose. I also did wine tasting farm tours near Fresno. The drive from Fresno to Yosemite was scenic as well.
Great, thanks !
2 days is good. Do the other national park right there too. Beware that tourists will be driving hella slow.
Yes, I will do the Kings canyon as well. What's the best time to visit?
It’s amazing — worth a visit— but unless you are a major hiker 4 days is more than you need. But there’s tons of other parks not to far you can visit!
Been there, camped as well. Its a nice place to visit. Easy drive from San Jose. Sun sets are great from view points on kings canyon road.
Did a one night trip and wish it was a week. Beautiful lakes if you’re able to hike out for more than a few hours
2-2.5 days would be more than enough, unless you’re planning for some long hikes in the Kings Canyon.
Might add Yosemite to your plan, 4 days is a lot for these two parks. South entrance of Yosemite is close to Fresno
Absolutely. There are some wonderful hikes around. Moro rock is wonderful.
Thanks!
