American Airlines Basic Economy cancellation
How to cancel or get refund on American Airlines basic economy class ticket. By mistake I purchased basic economy ticket and not able to travel on that date. Is there a way to get at least some amount refund instead of loosing all 😞 #travel #americanairlines
I believe there's some flexibility with Basic Economy wrg changing the flight without a change fee. Are there different dates you can move it to?

You should be able to then. Visit the travel updates page on AA just to make sure.
It depends when you bought i, I think. Generally the answer is no changes, but with COVID a lot of the rules temporarily changed
Obviously contact the airline, they know more than anyone here
Best path is just to blame it on covid, cancel the ticket outright - then purchase a new ticket...
If it's less than 24 hrs, call the 1800 number to cancel.
Sadly Its more than 24 hours..
How many more? I have had some luck with "one time exceptions" in the past, but it was still shortly after 24 hours.
