Dara vs Axios

Let's start off by saying that Dara made an imbecile of a remark. That said, what the hell did Axios want? Retoric question, obviously just the clicks, views and the polemics. But seriously, apart from that, what was the intention? Getting Dara do boot the guys out of the board? Publicly stating that they are criminals - which, if true, would likely be his life sentence written right there as well lol. The guy's just a civilian that's clearly unprepared to do his job right, what were they expecting? Dara doesn't have judging, policing or whatever sort of power. Axios were just a bunch of freaking leeches capitalizing and trying to profit from someone else's murder. It's shameful and pathetic from their part.

Just read about this for context. Dara’s gut reaction was to be a sellout. Yea, I get it, from ceo perspective, first thing he did was think about what answer is best for his company... but f**** sellout.

Dara is an idiot, but the axios guys were just baiting him. His answer should have been better, but the interviewers kept drillng in a lot even after dara said 'listen' 😱

Dara vs Tim Cook

Dara is a moron. Tim is a supply chain genius and master operator. He openly agrees he is not a product guy. One took company from 70B to 46B and another took from 400B to 1T.

There's an ongoing debate about whether corporations have social responsibility. "Should corporations support murderers," is just a part of that debate. Yeah, they were asking him to diss his bosses, but he's the CEO of an 11 figure company and shouldn't need coddling. He should be able to answer the question either by tactfully calling out the Saudis, or by tactfully selling out. "But we also murdered someone!" is definitely the wrong answer. And if New Zealand had dismembered a software engineer, you bet I would bring that up over and over and over again!

Plenty of wealthy governments today murder innocents in cold blood. USA — Drone strikes, weapons sold to Saudi Arabia China — Uygurs and its own dissidents Russia — Dissidents Saudi Arabia — Dissidents, Yemenis If you live in the USA, would you accept a federal scholarship? Do you use any kind of federal service? Well, that’s tainted with Saudi blood money right there.
