How much should I keep in investments and how much in savings if my net worth is 466$k
That’s a very broad question with a lot of parameters that requires someone you pay for financial advice. Generally, the younger you are, most of your money should be in investments & riskier stocks. The older you get, more you should shift to safer investments & savings and protect your assets as you can’t as easily make that money back.
Free advice is worth what you pay for it… nothing. Stop being cheap and talk to a financial advisor if you need help figuring this out.
If you are out of a job right now, how many months do you need to make the same income. Emergency fund for that many. For me it's 12 months. What you save as cash is for near term purchases. Index funds stocks are usually for 10+ years
