Is it worth buying a home warranty ? have you used it ? if so for what. pls share your experience thanks. would appreciate if you could recommend some company and policy
Its worth it. HVAC alone May cost you a lot of money in winters especially youโd feel the pinch or some serious wiring issue. You have to factor out people who have great general contractor reference - they are cheaper definitively.

It varies depending on your situation. My homes refrigerator, heater, AC, and dishwasher were all from the late 90โs and my real estate agent bought me a home warranty when I moved in. Iโm glad he did - my Subzero fridge shit out over this really hot summer and the unit was so beyond repair that Fidelity wrote it off and sent me a check for $5k. Unfortunately that only covers a little more than half the cost of a replacement Sub zero but itโs much better than nothing, and the warranty paid for itself for the next 10 years. I re-upped the warranty this year hoping my central AC or heater shits out. ๐
