Hi guys, I recently interviewed with google and the recruiter just asked me some time to talk on later this week. Is there anyway to read this? Is that the norm? Even if i get in, there will still be anothet round of interviews if they like me. The role is within Finance Ops as a process manager. Current: NEW grad student so i dont have any current TC. EDIT: Just got the call and it lasted form 55 seconds. A reject with a stern tone :)
Yes, Google recruiters are required to reject via a phonecall. I was rejected last time with a phonecall. If your recruiter says words like want to talk about next steps then it is good news otherwise its tough to say.
Was your last Interview an onsite or a phone round?
Finance Ops team doesn't do onsite interviews. I had it via hangouts.. If they like me, next step would be to do another round of 2 hangouts interviews
Is that what they told you, no onsite?
Yes , 99% of times
And is acceptance news mostly delivered via email?
No phone call again.
Recruiters want to hear you cry. So they can sleep peacefully
Damn dude haha
My suggestion is to approach each call with optimism and confidence. While you can prepare yourself for a ‘sorry next time’ it can really go either way and why focus on the negative when there is a shot you can get in or move to the next step. Good luck
Why do you overcharge for college textbooks and pay us $1 at the end of the semester
Not my department but the lifecycle to create a book is not simple and is a big effort from origination to editorial to typesetting to printing/ publication. On top of that royalties have to be paid to the authors. Back to the topic.
Text book companies are terrible.

You guys call and reject 🥺 You took my hopes up and then rejected me on call. Didn't even provided any feedback! Seriously, why would you guys call? That's a mean way to reject
