90% of coverage issues with T-MOBILE are device issues. People scream we want better coverage but when network enhancements happen they hold on to their old devices and expect service to get better. Hear this. If you phone is 2 years old it needs to be replaced. I blame manufacturers for not keeping up with tech changes. But really. Stopping being a baby. Invest in a new device and watch what happens.
Rant rant rant
TBH, I kind of agree with OP. I had a lot of problems with missed calls, not hearing kids when they called etc. All mostly around Bellevue/Sammamish area but also in Seattle and whenever we traveled. Sometimes rebooting the phone helped Soni figured Android is at least part of the problem. Finally I have up and ditched all Android phones in the family (2xNexus 5, Moto g, g4) and upgraded to iPhones(6, 2x8, 8plus) No one in the family had problems with missed calls or not hearing each other since that switch. YMMV
TMobile is crap. All the bells and whistles (free data, Netflix, gogo inflight) etc are nice but they suck at the primary function of the phone, I.e. ability to make and receive calls reliably. After using them for three years, I finally gave up and went to AT&T, which is almost twice as expensive and where every month’s bill is a new surprise (of the bad kind).
Lol. Phone companies and mobile network providers fool people like you in changing your perfect working condition phone. Don’t be a fool, keep your phone and rather invest that money. I have an iPhone 7. I don’t have any issues. I plan to keep it for at least 2 yrs more. That’s a total saving of ~2k
Just wait and see what changes by June...
Fix the signal in BART in SF
Any time I get a new device my t mobile signal continues to be shit throughout cap hill. Thanks for the free roaming data though.
This. The only reason I keep TMO is the international roaming with data and the fact that I have WiFi calling at both home and work. I have an upgrade program so my phone is never more than a year old and the signal is crap.
