Has anyone been able to sell their bars for cash? Because if that’s not possible or if they get less cash then it’s a bad investment.
You expect it to be hard to sell gold?
Of course it is not a good investment LOL. Who do you think is going to buy good gold from a private party? Maybe if it is 25%+ cheaper
Why not buy an ETF that tracks gold? GDX? More liquid and easy to sell if needed. And you get the benefits of gold value. Holding a physical asset like gold bar is only useful if the world is going into a crisis mode.
Not even then.
Indians bring all 3 generations to Costco
They sell fast because with their credit card plus an exec membership you get 4% cash back on your gold purchase, which was already at a competitive price
Can you pay cash?
What do you do with these bars later?
Do you have to pay sales tax?
No sales tax
There’s no sales tax on gold?
Buy Costco stock instead of the gold bars. Their stock has massively outperformed the S&P500 for like 25+ years at least.
I consider S&P index nonexistent. It's just not how I see it, there are better indexes like Nasdaq 100 or even all inclusive DOW
You do realize that S&P 500 is what is called as the US market. So according to you, the US market doesn’t exist? Pretty naive of you.
Never saw them. But I would buy one if I had the chance just to say I have a gold bar and you don’t.
It’s 99% on their website and you need to keep alerts.
Owning precious metals is sick
So stupid
When exactly to buy the gold bars? I never seem to find them
Put a notification alert. They sell fast
Slick deals is the best
