Saw some deals on hertz car sales for 24k for a 2022 model 3. I was an intern do my income qualifies for the 4K federal credit and the 4K PGE used EV credit, so OTD will be around 19k. Thoughts?
Renters can damage stuff and hertz just “repairs” them in house and won’t be reported anywhere. Another thing to keep in mind, all car manufacturers build/repurpose a separate manufacturing line for rental cars that generally has lower quality/fit requirements. It’s cheap for a reason. If you’re buying a used car from a private party or dealer. Look for paint swirl marks. They generally aren’t car people. Take that into consideration.
