With market going crazy, is this a good time to switch jobs? BT- 250k
If a lot of people are resigning at your company, that means the business will start looking at increasing compensation and bonuses to retain you, and usually leads to faster promotion rates for those staying behind and opportunities to learn outside of your swim lane (resulting in usually more senior titles when you finally leave and ultimately higher comp than had you left sooner) However, if some company offers you double your current salary, throw yourself out of the window and sign that offer
Makes sense. I’ll have more clarity in a week or so. Thanks buddy
How long have you been at your current job? Yoe?
Little over a year. YOE- 5
I wouldn’t switch just for the sake of switching, considering you’ve only been there for a year. I usually ask myself two questions. 1. Am I making good money relative to the market? 2. Am I learning or growing in this job? Ideally the answer should be yes for both. But if it’s a no for both, that’s your signal to gtfo
lol do u not like money? let the dust settle? that'd be waaaay too late!
Lol. One way of looking at it
