My friend’s offer for L5 business Intelligence was Base -$132k Bonus -$40K Y1 and $35K year 2. You are being lowballed. Ask for $135k base and $50k bonus year 1

This is suck man! Anything less than TC $250K for L5 Amazon, I would reject right away. If you are going to sell your mental health at least get a fair price!! Also, there are many other companies that pay close to Amazon. It’s not your only option
Hey man thanks for your response. I have framed an email in which I am going to ask for 150k Base but for Business Analyst, levels.fyi doesn't show salaries that high for people located in Canada. Although this a tech role and there was a coding round, I am shocked with what they have offered. I have a Btech degree, MBA and a Business Analytics Certification from BCIT. I mean seriously, wtf is wrong with this recruiter??
So I have to admit I didn’t notice that the position is BA, however, your offer still sounds low ball big time. and honestly make sure your offer worth the rootless culture of Amazon, or feel free to reject it! I personally know a few friends who all joined Amazon and literally ran away in less than two years and all of them with much much higher TC.
Looks like you are on the low end of the range. I’d walk away if they don’t at least match. Unless you want to work for amazon very much
Thanks for your reply. I want to work at Amazon but salary is really really low! Recruiter was super adamant that the range that I am looking for will be L6 and not L5. I don't know what to do now... #disappointed
@salah91 recruiter is BSing you! For L5 they can easily go to 250k. In fact 250k is just median for Canada L5!
