Anyone have any experience working off the grid with starlink? Wondering how reliable / feasible this option is if I want to spend 1-2 weeks at a time working out of national forest etc.
Could be fine however in my experience if there are any blockages aka trees in the way of its signal it will slow down considerably/ get no connection
Awesome for aircrafts and boats.
We used the dishie (the RV version) off the grid for a whole month. Pretty consistent and good speed most of the time, both of us could GVC / zoom at the same time. However a pretty huge sky clearance is required (which we had)
Thanks for the input yall, sounds kinda like my satellite. Great if you have clear view of the sky otherwise, meh.
fairly awful at my house. would be very excellent for camping though, but keep in mind you need pretty wide open sky view. personally i tend to camp in forested places and it wouldn’t get any signal at all.
