Internet is a tough place for small companies. I am worried Etsy might be the next. One day they are changing the world, another day going out of business.
Peloton was never changing the world. It's an overpriced exercise bike.
iPad on an exercise bike. Sad!
COVID made EVERYONE look like geniuses if they were in the right vertical. "Wow, our marketing is just so good as well as our product. Let's hire more people!"
Why would etsy be next? You have a marketplace with mindshare in certain niches. You don’t need people to pay for a subscription or buy expensive equipment.
Peloton had a good hook but their pricing was ridiculous. $45 a month for a content subscription? It’s about $40 more than most people are willing to pay. I have the bike but I’m not dropping that kind of cash on content. If it was 5-10 a month they’d have way more customers.
I get ads on TikTok on their bike rental program lmaooooo no thanks
Peloton is the most stupid company out there. Not surprised they are dying/dead.

Developing yet another exercising bike is always another scam. People eventually catch up.
