I have an interview coming up for a senior software engineer role at T-Mobile. Anyone knows what the interview will be like? What do I need to do to best prepare? is it similar to FANG where there are a lot of emphasis on LC? There will be an online assessment I need to do, and an interview for BQs and pair-coding with two engineers. This is for Product & Technology (P&T) team (multiple locations). Also, is it odd that they don't offer relocation unlike other companies, maybe my salary expectation is too high (140 - 150K)? Any information would be appreciated! Thanks. TC ~120K YOE 5
1 hour behavior interview with two people, then a 1hr 45m pair coding interview with two people. I can't remember exactly what I was asked, but they provided me a list of 7 or so challenges I could pick from prior to the interview. There were about 5 stages of requirements that I needed to satisfy in order. It wasn't too bad. Just be sure to know how to iterate and manipulate arrays and json data and you should be good. The pdf they send you with the meeting invite will prepare you plenty for what they will be testing for. After that they do a domain match/team match which will be a mix of behavior and technical questions. Be sure to understand microservices and system design and maybe some AWS.
