Chevorelet Bolt total with tax is around $23k after tax rebate. The only discomfort is seat and back pain after driving. I'm gonna be using the car only for commute. In the state and town I'm living, people drive crazily. I wouldn't need to worry when commuting since the car is cheap. Tesla Y - 310 miles range is around $41k with tax. The car is convenient but the price is over 10k more. I have worry when driving over $ 40k car in a place where people are driving like maniac. The new Y is coming out soon and EV depreciate so fast in time.
If you’re just planning on commuting short distances, Bolt should be enough. However, if you’re looking to use your EV as a main transportation, better to get more space, better safety, more comfort, etc.
Try Kia EV6 and Ioniq 5.. you’ll like them better than both options you have on your list.
I own a bolt euv. Very happy.
Glad that it works out for you and save $$. Different people have different tolerance for the seat. First I test drove, was fine. When I rented for a few days before buying, the seat is a bit uncomfortable and causing pain. I tried different cushion and not working yet. I might need to install a new seat or try better cushion
