Hi, I am interviewing for a project/program manager at ebay and I have 8 years of experience. How much of base salary should I expect. The number recruiter mentioned is lesser than what I currently make at Uber as a PM. Is there any negotiation at eBay? I know a few companies don't entertain negotiations. #pm #ebay #uber
Out of curiosity are you in technical or non-technical project management? All the posts relating to PjM I see on here are for technical roles which aren’t really relevant to me.
I am into non-technical pgm. The role is as a program/ process manager
What’s the number recruiter shared ?
0$ per year..as you will not do shit
There is always room for negotiation but I haven’t usually seen/heard of any huge jumps. Did you inform the recruiter that it is less than your current salary? It might help.
Do you know what the salary the recruiter shared? I know non tech project managers make significantly less than technical and the salaries so range on experience.
There is no room for negotiation. eBay's policy is take it or leave it. Good luck!
Ofcourse there is room for negotiation
Ask the recruiter what the job level and range is. Yes, you can negotiate.
Set a price for yourself, ask 10% over that price from the recruiter. But first get an offer :) I negotiated a lot before joining to eBay and increased base for around 20%. but this was pre corona plus I'm an engineer.
Grab the offer first lol
Sure! Thanks for the insight on that ;)
