im curious if there are any open source system and services companies use to ecommerce backend architecture. what kind of db is used. how the filters are generated etc? are these logic implemented in house or is there a solution commonly used, especially for medium sized fashion companies that might not have a large engineering team but have their own website. is there any meetup or conferences for people who work on backend or system design for ecommerce? #macys #nordstrom #ecommerce
