Hey guys. Infrastructure Engineer here with about 24 YOE. Lots of experience in game build pipeline along with everything that goes along with it. Some management experience as well. Been in the gaming business for a long time and have worked at every large gaming company aside from the above and have been thinking about another change. Nintendo just seems like it would be great, but its name alone. Ubisoft and Microsoft would be a location change, where Sony is probably closer. Anyone at any of the above have any insight into some positions for someone such as myself? #career #gaming

I've seen Amazon game infrastructure roles, they probably pay better than the companies you've listed.
Hey! So I can probably talk from Ubisoft side... I was hired about 3 years ago and since then I've been working "from home" / remote. While it wasn't a perk of the job when they listed it, the situation happened when they asked me if I would relocate (I live near one studio, but they told me if I would move to another). I politely rejected it saying that we would have to discuss everything again. One thing led to the other and I'm one of the few people that work at this company which reports to a manager at the other side of the world, which in turn means I don't have to be present in the office (I still go though!) I'm in the SDE world but I know that our company is growing with stuff like pipelines, containers, kubernetes and so on (in fact, there's like 4 different solutions to the items above). I definitely know we're hiring as well because we get bonuses for referrals but also because we post it internally and you can subscribe to notifications which I get fairly often. I've also heard that, at least in infra, we've been looking for people with experience on public and private clouds or Openstack. If you have any questions about the company, let me know!
DM me if you’re interested in EA as well. My team works on game build pipelines so I guess I can give some insights on that. My team is currently hiring SWEs and I believe management roles as well. Feel free to reach out!
DM me for possible opportunities at Blizzard. I can forward your info to folks I work with in HR.
Where are you located ? DM me and you can send me your resume
