An Etsy recruiter reached me on LinkedIn for senior software engineer role in NY. Wondering if they have competitive compensation? Current TC: 300k 5YOE I will only consider moving if they can provide atleast 350k. Any insights or datapoints? #etsy

I don’t think you’ll even get close to 300k at Etsy. Maybe 200-250

it's another high risk potentially high growth company, except growth for etsy is already way overpriced in It's akin to joining doordash right now. Also no way will they come close to matching your comp.
