Hi! Yesterday got an offer for Autodesk TPM in Canada Location: Remote Base: 120K CAD Stocks: 38K CAD per year Total: 158K How does the offer look?
Can probably ask for 5-10k more on the base pay. There’s also a performance bonus of 10%
I asked but it was denied. I felt this to be a good offer so had no problem accepting it. How is the culture? Do they invite you to travel and stuff to meet and collaborate team mates?
Negotiate now. The raises at Autodesk are small yoy. So if you want something big in a year, don’t expect it. That is a good thing because the company stays solvent. It just means you have to be confident with the offer for the next 3 years with maybe 2.5-3% yearly raises.
I tried but this is the max they offered. I didn’t had any other offer so had no leverage.
You can also ask for a small signing bonus. Some companies do this. I have heard of people at Autodesk getting 10K to sign. Doesn’t impact the long term spending.
Ah! I should have had. I missed that boat now. But will keep in mind next time.
Quite a good offer considering you can work from a low cost shithole somewhere in NB or pei
Naa. Not going anywhere. I am in Ontario and happy here.
Few things to double check, as someone mentioned you should be getting 10% bonus. Have they offered 114k worth of rsu vesting over 3 years? If so then that's a really good number
There’s a hiring freeze in place except in flight offers. So decide carefully & soon.
Location and total TC will be quite helpful. No one really wants to do a calculation.
Good recommendation. Will add
Thanks and I feel it’s a good TC, if you choose to live an LCOL.
