What’s the work culture like at Spotify in NYC? The latest reviews on Glassdoor don’t seem too positive... any truth to these reviews?
I think ppl who are complaining on Glassdoor are select. You should be fine.
Very progressive, very relaxed.
I’ve been at Spotify 4 years. In terms of WLB - Spotify NYC is as good as it gets. Lots of diversity (thank you NYC!) and people are generally really nice and not backstabbing. The culture is starting to change a bit since we moved from Chelsea to 4WTC and went public last year. Less start-uppy vibe (less parties, free booze, etc.) but I’d say that’s probably a good thing for our bottom line.
Our offsites cannot be beat!
Where do you guys go?
Brooklyn and Stockholm
No accountability or motivation. Great freedom, too much for some people.
Generous vacation and unbeatable WLB are nice, but the latte foam printer is the real perk.
Curious to know the same. Also how is the wfh/remote culture at Spotify?
Remote isn’t really a thing. Many people work from home occasionally. All conference rooms have a sufficient video setup to accommodate dialing in to meetings.
Thanks for the info! In general how often do people work from home would you say? Is it one of those things where it's somewhat frowned upon/not encouraged?
Pays peanuts.

Really woke, apparently
Aren't some artists really against Spotify? How can they be woke?
