I was wondering if there was a list of companies in San Francisco which are flex, but in the office at least 1-3 days a week? I like Lyft, but given the rumors about layoffs at all companies I’ve decided to poke around a little. My preference is in office 2-3 days, at home 3-2 days, but I’m flexible. Trying to avoid fully remote meeting grind. Here are the companies I know of: Lyft Uber (flex?) DoorDash (flex?) Twitter (full 5 days) Alchemy (flex?) Square/Block (flex?) AirBnb (flex?) Google (sf office, flex) Airtable (sf office? Flex?) Facebook (I’m not interested in fb) OpenAi (flex?) Non tech (don’t pay enough) Levi’s Gap Williams sonoma
Airbnb is full remote. They have an office but I don’t think anyone really goes in.
Probably the hardest place to get in right now. But that is good to know
Square is full remote
Are you guys hiring SDE's as of now?
From what I’ve seen we’re still hiring sde. I even had a new grad interview last week, but definitely more interviewing for experienced roles.
Asana is not exactly flexible, but it's hybrid: Mon-Tue-Thu in the office.
Go out and touch some grass
It will likely never happen
