They should start by not offering 5k lower than a next door dealer!

Haha they are not putting any number yet. I guess they want to get verbal consent first

Hey OP .. did you join? What position what that you were being interviewed for

Asurion usCi70 OP Feb 27, 2022

No I didn't join , it was for solutions architect

United Airlines jky Mar 7, 2022

I recently joined. They are going through a transition. They are hiring like crazy and trying to copy/emulate a more tech focused culture. In some areas, I’ve seen better practices than United, but they seem to be trying to continuously be improving the process. Based on hiring and direction, it seem like a good place for growth. However, you be growing with the company. Meaning, they aren’t a big tech giant yet. You’ll see some devs that don’t have the experience with scale or an older mindset. Not as bad as larger companies like United though. United knew how to scale but in the old world way.

What was the role offered may I know. I tried Principal position but never got a call back. Azure and .Net tech stack. I would reach if I need any future references if that’s fine with you

Asurion usCi70 OP Mar 8, 2022

Right. I felt the same way. They seem to get the idea well from big tech firms but I wasn't sure how well the idea was implemented. What role did you take ?
