Marvel Semiconductor Digital Design Senior Staff Role
Hello Everyone, Just wanted to ask how is Marvell Semiconductor in terms of compensation and WLB. I am currently at Renesas Electronics as Digital Design Engineer and have a good WLB, just the pay is average. I was approached by a Marvell Semiconductor recruiter for the Senior Staff role. How much TC to expect in this role and would it be better to switch to Marvell Semiconductor with the current market conditions? Marvell has inflated title, senior staff actually means staff. But no way 1yoe gets staff. You might probably be downgraded after interview.
Our business is around 80-90% on enterprise, datacenter side. Less than 10% consumer side. So if recession, likely it won’t be bad as other companies. That being said, they might trim a little fat. You never know.
Marvell cleverly inflated all their titles, all dir is now sr dir, sr dir is vp etc, semi vps in few years will be like banking vps and Marvell is setting the trend

What's wrong with looking for wlb at any level? Wake up, times have changed
