Game on - IDF Tanks take the main road in Rafah, encircling half the city
In India, the following would count as being wealthy: 1. Owning a house in a tier 1 City, in a posh area, in either a gated community or an independent bungalow (2-3 bhk, 1500-2000 sq ft, well furnished). The quality of the gated community matters - a reputed builder, a good locality, good facilities and amenities etc. Owning a home in Mumbai in Bandra, South Bombay, in Banjara hills, Jubilee hills, Gachibowli, Kondapur, Madhapur in Hyderabad, in HSC layout, Indiranagar in Bangalore would be considered rich. 2. Owning an Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz or other luxury car brands would be considered rich. 3. Sending children to international schools or posh boarding schools would be considered rich (Eg Ambani international school, Doon school etc) 4. Wearing mostly branded clothes and having a few luxury brand names in the wardrobe. This extends to shoes, footwear, accessories, makeup etc. 5. Eating out frequently in high end restaurants 6. Having international vacations at least once a year. 7. Premium club or gym membership. 8. Network consists of other rich people from public life. Other ceo's, a few celebrities, journalist's, writers, economists, etc.
Well you only need good credit in America to have all these 🤷🏽♀️
Old money New money New credit
Lol. Who says? I live in Hyderabad for your reference
IDK what "considered rich" means but me and my spouse make enough money to afford most, if not all, of the above. But we actually do almost none of it because we get no joy from it. The only thing we enjoy spending on is travel. Quit worrying about what "image" you're projecting and do what makes you happy and makes sense for you.
This.
1) to have a house/apartment for over 1 million $ 2) sending your kids to UK 🇬🇧 private schools (elementary , middle, high) 3) owning a latest model of Mercedes 4) Wearing only designer clothes 5) having couple of watches ( AP, PP, Hublot or Rolex) 6) Have a prestigious education from top schools 7) have strong connections to upper management people of the country, so u can solve lots of things. (Symbol of a power) Eastern europe
^this.
@infosys- this is too much i believe. You are talking about ultra rich . man who has contacts with celebrities or ceos. you are also a mere engineer how did you do you even come up with these points. i think if u earn ~50L , you can pretty much afford a super luxury life in india. And that will probably put u 99%ile of rich people in india. what u mentioned is exaggeration if being rich
Lol no. Don't Vijay Shankar, Narayan Murthy and other ceo's frequently interact with journos, politicians, celebrities etc? ~mere engineer... You have a ton of inferiority complex????
haha you are cute infosys. vijay shankar, narayan murthi and people like really dont care if they are eating in poshest restaurant or taking a vacation aborad or living in 1500-2000 sqft house 😂 i thought ur question was for normal people like us
Have enough time to spend time in nature and bring up responsible kids. Take care of your family/friends needs. That's all my man. Rest is all drama 🙂
Remove kids and even better.
Why do you want that?
Zingtwo, your definition for rich is correct for India but that applies for the business men/ women class. A working professional may get these for starter but it's not sustainable for life for a regular tax paying citizen. You have to define it differently for each profession.
Agree. Do you think an IIT'ian or IIM grad could realistically achieve this lifestyle?
Nope. Noveau riche buy houses in suburb. They send their kids to expensive schools but not international. They will buy a car which is mid level but will also run for a long time without changing. They will eat outside because they cannot find time to cook at home from their busy software jobs. Rich people don't become rich since they exhibit certain behavior. The behavior pattern appears because of the nature of the work they do which makes them rich. No one buys houses in South Bombay or Golf Links now a days. Those places were occupied by families long back which were into flourishing businesses and eventually they flourished the neighborhood. They change cars frequently coz they can expense it on company profits and get tax breaks at the same time. They eat at high end restaurants and network with important people coz that will bring business to them. Everything is done for professional reasons. Money is just an outcome.
Working a well known high paying job is enough. Poor people show off because they need the validation. Rich people drive Hondas. Instagram duckbois are a different story and they only attract the stupid gullible people who fall for Tai Lopez scams. Word.
Sounds exhausting to chase that image.
Want the money without the work??
Lol. I think Blue Origins point was more about the mental exhaustion of having to sorry about the "image" you're projecting.
