Israel prevents Palestinians from gathering rainwater? Seems wrong on so many levels to me
I posted this update on reddit and was asked to post it on here as well to keep people informed. I wanted to let everyone know that I’ve been able to switch the material on our docking base from plastic to bamboo/wood. This was the result rethinking unit costs (accepting a higher initial unit cost) to speed up our time to market and decreasing startup costs. The original assumptions were to raise approximately $150k over the next few months to finance the cost to build custom molds ($~50k) and initial order of the units based on factory moq of 5k units due to the plastic case minimum. The new math is far better: $12k mold fees 1,000 moq 20% higher cost per unit. Total cost - $36k Needless to say, this has significantly altered our launch schedule and the full product should be out by June. The best part: We now have almost zero plastic and a higher quality/better looking overall product on top of the better design. The case itself will stay steel but now the base will be wood/bamboo. All orders will be defaulted to bamboo but preorders can switch to any wood for free. Preorder price has been increasing as we get more orders and get closer to production. After launch, wood variants will be a premium option and the price will go to msrp (~$75). Thanks for your support! Let us know in the poll which base type you like most!#Invisalign #retainers #mouthguards #smiledirectclub #aligners
