I have about 4 years NS experience and a total of 8 years of ERP consulting, I've been in a fulltime NetSuite admin position for the past year and would like to get back into implementing NS. I'm greatly familiar with ARM so working in the software vertical wouldn't be a challenge for me. I feel like I have 3 options, but need assistance understanding the pros and cons of each and total comp before I can make my next move. 1. Join NetSuite PS 2. Join a NetSuite Partner 3. It depends, 100-150/hr, build relationship with staffing companies and other consulting companies.
I think there is a shit ton of opportunity in the independent space. NS is adding logos but not implementing well. There is a huge market to fix SMB implementations.
How's the comp in the independent world? Also how would one go about finding these clients in the SMB space? I've done very little business development in my past so not too sure where to start
