How come I did not see any post about this. The layoffs seems to be non engineering but maybe engineering is next? Can employees from ClickUp shed some light on this please. https://www.protocol.com/bulletins/clickup-layoff-productivity-app
Maybe if they didn’t spend 20 bajillion dollars littering San Diego and Los Angeles in advertisements they could’ve afforded a downturn. The CEO always gave me bad vibes.
Lol CEO is such a weirdo

Oh I missed that. Thanks!
I interviewed there before the layoffs. They are so high on their own supply, it's absurd. Talk about not knowing which way the wind is blowing. Good luck to those laid off!
Clickup Eng employee here - still hiring strong and in great shape. Was just a restructuring afaik. I have zero concerns about further layoffs through the upcoming downturn. I’d say a safe bet for Eng. (and probably other positions moving forward)
Do they hire folks from India as remote devs?
We have some contractors from India I think. I’m not sure if we have any full time employees there or not though !
