they will support h1b. I know such candidates are to replace Americans. But IBM is so low ?????
Really bad for California, in context, waiters make around $25/hr there so...
This is HCL which probably resells job to IBM for $50-60/hr
More like $100.
Car wash near me is hiring at 22$ an hour.
This is not even a software engineering role...it's an IT role like being a plumber but for servers 🤦🏻♀️
I think it might not meet the prevailing wage for that area, so you cannot file H1 even for level 1.
Janitors get paid more than this
Doubt you’re going to get an h1b approved making $19/hr. Minimum is like $60k per year.
Even AWS pays these technicians at least a living wage, like $40 hr With plenty of overtime.
This is not real. There is an H1B minimum wage for all positions….
But in Bay Area…..possible to get h1b approved ?
Pobably no h1b approval, but you won't get prevailing wage for sure. It's a green card dead end. Even if you do, the precarity will be so bad you would better off getting a phd or going home.
