Hey, here are my thoughts, but I definitely recommend you read through the Glassdoor and Blind company reviews for more perspectives. Work culture: Varies by team, but I have been very happy with my work hours, and the approach that my manager and exec team take to ensure employees get time off, are rested and avoid burnout. What does this mean? Crunchbase leadership is empathetic and wants you to maintain a healthy work life balance. This plays out in some clearly obvious ways, such as Mental Health Mondays, company wide shutdown for a whole week over the December holiday period, and no meeting Thursdays, and also in less obvious ways such as just your manager checking in with you and making sure you're doing well. Growth prospects.. not sure whether you mean for the company or individual so I'll give my opinion on both. Company - we're growing fast, we're hiring fast, customers love our product and brand. It's a great position to be in, and I'm very bullish on our future. Individual - it's an early stage startup, which means there will be ENDLESS opportunities to take on more responsibility, and thereby accelerate your career. Joined as an IC, now a manager; there are many others that have taken the same path, just check LinkedIn. Leadership: CEO was former product leader at Salesforce.. other exec leadership from Google, Dropbox, Walmart, Salesforce. They aren't just good at what they do, they are good/fun people, too. Also would add that I think middle management, other leadership are good. Work/life balance: see above I've really enjoyed my experience and would happily recommend Crunchbase to any considering it as a place to work. Hey Newbiz and freezes or layoffs happening at crunchbase that I should be on the lookout for? Im trying to get my foot in the door here and I’m looking at the SDR role.
Never say never… But no freeze/layoffs happening. Helps that we just raised 50m and are very secure financially 📈
