How bad is it in meta?
In 2022, I booked Lufthansa flight for February 2023 and then rebooked it for September 2023. Then I cancelled the flight in September 2023 and requested a refund. Lufthansa says they offered me a refund in October but I don’t see that on any of my credit card statement. Funny thing is I don’t even see the original charge on any of my credit card statements. Customer service so poor that they refused to offer me further details. Is it possible that Lufthansa booked the flight ticket for me but did not post transaction on my credit card ?

I made the initial booking in 2022 and cancelled in 2023
Call your CC they'll be happier to assist/explain charges/debits/reversals than an airline customer service line. I had to call lufthansa last month and I was #150 in line ... (Then called at 2am though and no wait)
It is possible that that original transaction was voided before the statement was generated and hence it does not show up in your statement
