I had a SWE interview at Jane Street. Made it about halfway through (2/4) and then after the lunch break the recruiter said they were going to end the day. Is this common? Or did I do laughably bad? Btw doing an 8am interview because it’s 11am for them should be illegal 😂 New TC: 470 (not at splunk) Yoe: 3 Edit; They told me I was rejected when they ended it. And decided to give me my day back and not waste others times. I think interviews get harder as the day goes. Idk though
With that TC why leave?
You didn't make it
3 yoe and 470k seems like splunk pays more than netflix and snap.
they save on the afternoon interview employee-hours if your morning interviews didn’t make the cut, sry
Got it. Do interviews get harder throughout the day
Rejected.
470k tc with 3yoe what a chad
2S and citadel are notorious for doing this. mostly 2S. Where do you work now? 470 looks like you’re at snap? Not because it’s a lot of money but bcoz you mentioned “470”. That’s standard offer
Hey can you please edit the post to mention "new TC: 470 (not at Splunk)" so it is much clearer. Thanks
👍
Bloomberg does that too. I think it’s a fintech thing. How were you able to get an interview with Jane street?
rip
😵
Which company gives 470k for 3yoe 😵💫? I have 1.5, I’d like to do what you do now!
