Crown Castle culture?

What's the situation with this org? Talked with a recruiter over there and they seemed interesting, but couldn't get a real read on culture. She did warn me that a CEO stepped down and they're in the midst of a "digital transformation," so to take reviews lightly. I'm fairly comfortable where I am currently, but wouldn't mind a change. Anyone with prior or current experience? If salary is all you came to see, their range is 130-170k. L3 or Senior role.

Crown Castle's culture seems to be in transition, especially with the new interm CEO and the appointment of a CIO. They're undergoing a digital transformation, which includes adopting cloud technology in product engineering. Overall, the company leans conservative when it comes to technology and has a strong utility/telecom feel. There are a lot of employees who've been with Crown Castle for a long time, 5 to even 20 years. One thing to keep in mind is that there are some internal silos, particularly within IT and between IT and other teams, although this seems to be improving. In my experience in a product engineering team on the fiber side, middle management is very supportive and there's a lot of growth happening. They might take a cautious approach with technology, but the team works quickly and is constantly adapting and improving its agile practices (for instance). TC is okay but not stellar, however the bennies, including 401k matching, RSU and bonux structure is definitely where they make up for lower base salaries. I also like the stability I experience in my work, at the moment the EMT and. Corporate drama has settled and doesn't impact my day-to-day. Be aware that the financial review of fiber business is ongoing and there is the dreaded looming concern of a sale or major reorg later this year or in 2025.
