hey everyone! Could anyone working or has worked at SpaceX, shed some light on the offer approval process? I applied for an engineer 1 position and a few days after my onsite, I was informed I passed it and they would like to begin the process of getting an offer approved for me. How lengthy is this Executive Approval process ( has been a little over two weeks so far). SpaceX is my most dream company, and it would be quite disappointing to face rejection after making it this far. The position is based out of Hawthorne. I appreciate any information or advice you might have regarding what to expect at this stage. Thank you so much. #spacex
What was our onsite presentation like? I am just curious on what to expect
It really depends on the team, dept head, and situation. I’ve seen some turnaround in 48 hours. I’ve also seen other situations take 2-3 months and the candidate ended up taking jobs elsewhere.
Hiring freeze?
Hmm 2 weeks is way too long for us. Usually 24-48 hour notices between steps including for rejections. My team just hired a new grad and we gave him a verbal offer same day as onsite and then Executive Committee 2 days after.
Hmm that’s really weird. Is there any way for me to find out more about what’s going on? My recruiter let me know that it might also be several more weeks.
