It looks a little weird. Is it any good at what it does? Is there a better solution that is open source? My dataset is pretty small, and I should be able to keep it memory resident on 1 machine. Would be nice if scaling were an option in the future though.
Cant you get a design review internally lol
What? I am asking for feedback on a database product, there is nothing to review.
Fast graph database, do you need a graph database? ...lmgtfy: https://neo4j.com/top-ten-reasons/
Yeah marketing copy from the vendor isn't what I typically lean on for reviews or recommended alternatives, but thanks.
Neo4j is an amazing tool for graph problems, its used to connect data in a smart way that allows you to query with sub second response time. If you are doing something that could be expressed as a graph (a node being a person/place/thing and a connection being a relationship) then use it. The technology does not replace relational/non relational databases, it is used to supplement. This is why the “what are you trying to do” question is important
Small data, oltp primarily, if you need something that can scale you’re screwed
What are you trying to do exactly?
